"Oh Dendra!"
This sentence is said at least once a day. It is either followed with a sigh, laugh, or shocked expression. The other day all three were exhibited. Saddie and kids were at my home when I told them I needed to go to St. George and do some shopping. We stopped at JC Penney's looking for Michael some shirts that were on sale. Then to the DI. Hazel and I tried on shoes. "Oh, Dendra!" happened after trying on the SECOND pair. The picture tells what I saw. Yes these are MY shoes. I didn't turn the light on in the closet.
First the sigh of "I did it again." Then the shocked expression of "You got to be kidding." And ending with the laugh of "It's just my life." I did take heart when I told Saddie that I really did a good one and if she looked at me she would be able to see what I had done. It took Saddie about a minute to spy my shoes. And I did get to play "Same or different" with Tomas.
Next Saddie and I got separated at Wal-mart. "I am so glad I found you I was just about ready to call." "Oh, that's alright mom. I figured I would go up front and have them announce, 'If you see a strange women in the store with unmatched shoes would they please escort her to the front of the store. She is not dangerous. I think.' "

A moment please,
As you look at this blog page you are probably thinking that it is not the prettiest page you have seen. I agree in fact it is ugly! I haven't figured out how to get my page to look the way that I (or Michael) would like it to look. For this reason I have not blog very often. It is so maddening to know what I want to do and think I know how I can, only to find out that it doesn't work. I just wanted to get that off my chest. Thank you for your time. Dendra

Fixing Grandpa Stratton's Field
Michael has posted the last few blogs. I am very pleased that he did such a great job! He is very talented and has learned so much more than me about computers.
I wanted to add to the story of fixing dad's field. So here is a video I took of Michael working with Dad Stratton. I didn't want Michael to have all the fun so I joined him. It is amazing how much dirt we could move!

Here's what we did this weekend
Dad wanted to get his pasture plowed and seeded for pasture this year, he has been trying to get his tractor working so we could plow the field and disc it and get it ready for planting. well after a lot of fixing and changing it sorta runs. we got "Alice " running and managed to plow on friday but Saturday morning she just didn't feel like working I guess. We got her started and pulled the discs into the field, but alas she just would not run reliably. Well I decided enough of this foolishness and hooked up Sally the Zuki up to the discs and proceeded to get to work. after a bit Dendra took over the discing duties while I helped Dad with the tractor. We tinkered on it some more and managed to get her to run fairly well, enough to hook up a drag and begin to level out the field at the same time Dendra continued to run the discs around, what a team!! well after a few hours we had the fied lookin good and of course dad REAL happy with the results. Dad still has more work to do but well that will be another story, we sure had a great time bonding with my Dad!!
